The infrastructural back up provided to  these growth centres include facilities like developed land, industrial shed, water supply, power supply, street lighting, internal roads, drainage and sewerage system - in short, all the amenities growth centre should be equipped with. Furthermore, WBIIDC has now initiated action for providing amenities like telephone, bank, post office, shopping centres, fire station, police, outpost, common facilities, centre for recreation facilities etc. in collaboration with concerned departments or agencies.
